Yellow Giant Hyssop (Agastache nepetoides) is a tall native woodland-edge plant with slender spikes of pale yellow-green flowers that bloom in mid to late summer. Though subtle in color, the abundant blossoms are rich in nectar and attract a wide range of pollinators including bumblebees, native bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects. The mint-family flowers open gradually along the tall spikes, providing a long-lasting food source for insects.

Its height and airy structure add vertical interest to the back of garden beds and naturalized plantings. Yellow Giant Hyssop thrives in open woods and lightly shaded areas where it can form small colonies over time. It’s an excellent choice for adding ecological value and pollinator activity to woodland gardens.
